About OGŪN
Coastal tailoring. Practical clothing.
OGŪN makes clothing shaped by life in Cape Town. Drawing on tailoring, workwear and the outdoors, we bring easy shapes, considered fabrics and practical details into an everyday wardrobe.
Made locally, our collection moves from light linen to substantial cotton and corduroy, with pieces designed to be worn together.
Our first collection launched in 2017. Since then, we have focused on clothes that feel comfortable and find a regular place in a wardrobe.
Fabric
We work with linen, cotton, hemp and wool, paying attention to texture, weight and how each fabric feels when worn. These choices guide the shape and character of our clothes.
Making
Our garments are made locally. We work directly with the people who cut and sew them, spending time on the factory floor and staying involved as each piece takes shape.
That close working relationship is central to how we make clothes.
Repairs & alterations
We offer complimentary fit adjustments and repairs on OGŪN garments, carried out by our own team. Bring your piece to any OGŪN location for help with hemming, shortening, taking it in or a repair.
