These terms apply to purchases from and use of ogun.co.za, operated by Ogun Outfitters (Pty) Ltd, trading as Ogun, in Cape Town, South Africa. Please read them alongside our Return and refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy.
Orders and payment
Please check your items, sizes, delivery address and total before submitting an order. You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement or have the necessary assistance or consent. Use only payment methods you are authorised to use.
An automated order receipt confirms that we received your order. We accept your order when we confirm dispatch. If stock is unavailable, payment fails or we have a reasonable concern about fraud or an obvious error, we will contact you and explain the next step. If we cannot fulfil a paid order, we will refund it promptly. We will not substitute an item or increase an agreed price without your consent. Nothing in this section overrides binding consumer rights.
Prices and product information
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the website. The checkout displays the currency and total you will pay, including any applicable delivery charge. South African retail prices include VAT where applicable. International import charges are explained in our Shipping policy.
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Screen settings and the character of natural materials may cause small differences in colour or texture. This does not limit your rights if goods are defective or materially different from their description. Prices and availability may change for future orders.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
Our Shipping policy explains delivery rates, processing times and tracking. Our Return and refund policy provides a 30-day return window and explains exchanges, faulty goods, statutory cancellation rights and lifetime repairs. Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. Dispatch does not remove any cancellation or return right provided by law.
Using the website
Please provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, infringement, harassment or interference with its security or operation. We may restrict misuse where reasonably necessary, without affecting accrued rights or valid orders.
Content and third-party services
The Ogun name, designs, photographs, films and website content belong to us or their respective rights holders. You may browse and share links for personal use. Reproduction or commercial use requires the relevant rights holder’s permission unless permitted by law.
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Purchases are made directly with Ogun, and we are responsible for fulfilling our obligations to you. Payment providers, couriers and linked websites may have their own terms and privacy notices. Their involvement does not remove any responsibility we have under applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how personal information is used and shared to operate the store, fulfil orders and support customers, and how to exercise your privacy choices.
Your rights and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. We do not exclude responsibility for gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct. We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our reasonable control.
Questions and disputes
Please contact us first so we can work towards a fair resolution. South African law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live. You retain the right to approach an appropriate consumer authority, ombud or competent court.
Updates
We may update these terms for future use of the website and future purchases. The version applicable when you place an order will govern that order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. The update date appears above.
