Coast & Studio

Coastal frames from the Boxfish archive, alongside three pieces from the September edit. A study of proportion and cloth: the short line of a cotton jacket, a boxy shirt and the length of a linen dress.

Cotton, with structure

The Trucker Jacket is cut from cotton bull denim. Here, the shorter hem leaves a band of shirt visible above pale trousers. The buttoned front keeps the shape square.

In the studio

A shorter shirt

A cropped, boxy cut in a linen-rich viscose blend. Worn with a long skirt in the same tone, the change in proportion comes from the hemline.

Linen, full length

The dress falls from narrow straps into a loose, full-length skirt. Pure linen gives the surface its visible texture and the hem its soft drape.
